Hi to my blogging friends..I have had a wonderful day today and have a really good happy feeling inside LOL...One of my girls is studying an apprenticeship in hairstyling..she goes to a training salon which she started going to whilst at school and has studied for 2years on that special programme and now studies and works in a busy hair salon in our local town..attending the training salon once a week..she treated me to a total restyle and colour at the salon where she works which I went for today...I love my new funky hairstyle and colour and really enjoyed the whole pamper thing LOL..I don't normally put time aside for myself so this was a real treat...

I was going to post a giveaway when I reached the 200 follower mark but wanted to share my happy feeling with you all ♥

♥ALL FADED AND FULL OF CHARM♥

A NEW FADED PRIM LOOK

For quite a while now I have been playing with the idea of a few decorating changes...I first saw this faded look in one of the Judy Condon books and since then have been collecting pics from everywhere and putting them in a little file..Even found some in an old 2006 County Sampler..Some of my favourtie blogs have this calm white look and I just love it..*White Wednesday* is a great place for inspiration and also *Time Worn Interiors* and *The Old Painted Cottage*..the thing is though I do love my prim bits too so have tried to incorporate them in with this look...I have been re-painting my painted furniture and really distressing it so it looks chipped and battered or for a better phrase well loved... I am pleased with the results and now have my bedroom and little sitting room finished..Just need to continue throught the rest of the house which all takes time..But now I have started..I do hope you enjoy my vignettes and my new updated home pics..

*SPRING MUST BE ON THE WAY*

My goodness where has the time gone since my last post !!?!!...I think I have been bitten by the Spring Bug...I have been clearing out, painting and remodeling my home...I am calling it my FADED CHARM look...I love it and when the sun was streaming in this week it gave me a real calm feeling and made me smile LOL..I will share some pics later in the weekend of my bedroom and sitting room as one of my boys is off to France on a school ski trip so I am up to the eyes with labels and toiletries..I have added this little pic below as a little teaser..it was taken in my sitting room... 

I have managed to make up a few prims when the paint has been drying..

VALENTINE INSPIRATIONS

SOMETHING SIMPLE FOR VALENTINES

Hey girls I think I am on a roll..Times are hard at the mo with the economy and I wanted to create something simple with a Valentines theme that you could use year round...The heart pillows were just perfect and I have been playing around with simple text and pics this morning.. Mind I did need a quick lesson in word and was happy my daughter was around to give me the pointers I needed..maybe this year I should polish up on my basic skills in word LOL..

JUST LOVE TRYING OUT NEW THINGS

PRIMITIVE GOURD GARLANDS

This past holiday season I did a couple of Christmas Fayres and had great fun along the way..I made a few of these prim garlands and they went down a storm..I love making them and they fit in with most home decor schemes from  shabby country to the real prim look..they come with their own aromer depending on the drieds you use..my hubby bought me the neccessary equipment and I am now drying my own fruit and veggies to make my garlands..like I have said many times I love to try out new ideas and just have plain old fun along the way..this one is now available on ebay along with the prim bears..well I am hooked on making them too..LOL..♥
