This weekend in the U.K we celebrate MOTHERS DAY..A day to say thank you to the most precious person in our lives..A day to also cherish the children who on this day enjoy making us feel so special...

 I have been taking some time-out this weekend from my workroom..well for a little while anyway just popped back in to run up these large grubby heart pillows for my bed LOL with a spring theme in mind ofcourse..

 I have been putting a few Easter goodies out on show too..the wax ornies smell delicious..the rabbit below is one of Doreen's at Vermount Harvest Folk Art..

EASTER BUNNIES MY FAVOURITE ♥

*SWEET EASTER BUNNIES*

I think I must confess that next to bears my next best favourite make are Bunnies...I love making them in all mediums...the blackened beeswax ones smell of sweet chocolate cheesecake and boy do you want to take a nibble..the wool fabric ones take on the lovely olde and worn prim look and I recently tried my hand at needlefelting...this was so much fun but can be a a painful experiance too..those needles are so so sharp LOL..I was instantly hooked and have a few new projects in the making..finally don't you just love the vintage bunny graphics..fantastic for printing on fabric bags filled with blackened beeswax Easter ornies...the pics I have shared with you are items I have available on ebay at the mo...

*SPRING GATHERING*

I have had the most wonderful weekend at our SPRING GATHERING..This is the first time I have ever done an open house and was totally amazed at the support of loyal customers, friends, neighbours,family and people who just dropped in to our small GATHERING too sample our hospitality and purchase our wares ..On friday my daughter arrived with apron in hand and so glady made aroud 160 cupcakes all decorated beautifully we set up the barn room and waited in anticipation for the people to arrive on Saturday..we were not dissappointed and they just kept coming..It was great to chat with folk I haven't seen in a while and some had travelled from quite far away...

Sunday saw our shelves sparse in places but still the people came to share with us....A big thank you to each and everyone and I would like to thank all the people who sent me messages of suppot and well wishes it trully was a great time had by all...with many requests to do a Christmas Gathering looks like I need to set a date and start now making my Santas and stockings LOL...A few pics before the event and I think I should have taken more...

I sit here with a happy feeling knowing that I have some great customers and friends world wide who are all more than happy to give out their support and friendship when I need a little encouragement...BIG BIG HUGS to you all..♥

*SPRING GATHERING*

A little taster of the goodies on offer

Hi blogger pals....As I said earlier in the month I have been planning my very first *SPRING GATHERING*..I am holding it on the 26th-27th of MARCH in my country home...I have been so busy stitichin',paintin' and sanding along with wax makin' and printin'..Living here in the U.K is sometimes a little hard when it comes to pleasing the public...there is quite a following for American Folk Art and Primitive Decor but they are spread far and wide LOL...the British public is a little more conservative so therefore I have tried to cater for all tastes..what with Country Homeware..French Shabby Vintage and ofcourse my much loved PRIMS...I only have a couple of weeks left now and my TO DO LIST is nearly complete...I hope to share some more taster pics soon..I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend...*~*blessings*~*
