*~*NEW ATTIC BEAR DESIGNS*~*

I have been spending lots of my free time at my design table.. I knew what I wanted to create and what fabrics I wanted to use but pulling it all together takes a bit of time.. This is my latest "MOST TREASURED " series from ATTIC BEARS.. They are very much in the prim style and look so old and loved.. They have been popular here in the U.K and I have also had an offer to supply a shop with my Attic Bears so exciting times ahead I think..

I have been very good this week working in my studio.. I am full of ideas and have some patterns on the drawing board.. Just need to add the finishing touches to my Giveaway too..

Just a quick post today and a quick pic share.. I made this sweet bear last week in rediness for Valentines.. She was added to ebay last night but was only actually on there for 11 minutes.. She is wearing a great 1800 pair of baby shoes and a blackened beeswax heart..

NEW YEAR, NEW IDEAS AND NEW MAKES

*~* NEW YEAR, NEW IDEAS, NEW MAKES*~*

I can hardly believe we will be leaving January so soon.. This month has already passed by so quickly but has brought lots of different weather for us in it's few short weeks.. We have had warm and barmy almost uncanny weather here and then the extreme fell over night blocking us in for a few days.. With the schools closed and hubby unable to get out for work.. Lucky for me I was on my days off so didn't have to try and travel.. So we spent some quality family time with outdoor fun sledging and building snowmen and this year snowdogs too LOL..

This also gave me some ME space to continue creating some more ATTIC BEARS.. I am so hooked on these fellows and love their vintage look..

This big Bear watches over me whilst I stitch and will be coming up for sale soon.. She is so sweet with her vintage fabric ruff and early 1900 Antique baby shoes..

This sweet Panda is now off to a loving home..

I have so much planned for this year and can't wait to share.. I have been doing abit of decorating and re-juggling in my home too so will do some pics of that too as I finish the rooms.. Waiting for fabric for soft furnishings... I have gone for a more simple look with lots of naturals which seems to enhance my collections LOL well you know what I mean...

This past year has been so busy for me what with my new job and of course my creating and crafting and family life.. I launched my new *Attic Bear series and Heirloom Santas* which has been so much fun and I have lots of ideas on my design board to share with you all in 2013. I am also planning a big website makeover plus I am going to get back into my pattern designing which always seems to be put on the back boiler.. For my blog followers lots of freebie giveaways too..

*~* 12/12/12 LAST ONE FOR THIS YEAR*~*

A hectic week ahead what with my day job but last weekend saw me having a real tidy and clean out in my studio/workroom LOL.. My orders were all caught up and I thought I would prepare my creative space for the creations I have tucked in my head which I was planning for the New Year.. It sounds crazy but I kept going in there just to admire how tidy it was with all my scissors neatly stored and my fabrics sorted and nicely colour coordinated with my plushes stacked LOL.. On about the 4 visit I thought maybe I would prepare a project well once I had started I was there for the duration HEHE.. This fellow was born then grubbied and dried.. I finished him on the twelveth.. That makes him pretty special really.. So I thought I would share with you all.. He is available on ebay on a short 5 day listing

*~*DRESSED FOR THE HOLIDAYS*~*

Well here goes.. Had a few days dressing my home for the holidays.. I was having a style crisis before I started as my decor has now gone for a more simple vintage faded kinda look.. I sorted my dec's and really just went with the things I love... The look is definaitly different to last year but my prims/antiques and basically my well loved junk seem to gel together...

My heirloom Santa.. I don't normally have time to make for myself but made a special effort and love him.. He is on my side hutch in the snug ( the room we live in the most LOL)

This is my mantle in the snug.. Simple white lighted pipberry with a prim tree belsnickel santa and stockings made from vintage fabric..

I am calling this my candy cane tree as it is simply white and red baubles and candy canes LOL..

My tall hutch.. Just loving it..

Some candy canes in my mason jar with some twinkly lights along side some greens a vintage bauble and lovely stitchery made by a friend..

In the kitchen..

The dinning room has been given a simple look too..

This little Ole snowman comes out every year.. He sings and dances too so a very firm favourite with my grands..

The only real tree in the house LOL.. My table display.. The perfect thing which can be moved easily.. Well with 15 for Christmas lunch I need all the space I can muster..

Now to the boys room.. I have had to wait a while to share this room.. It is part of the new extension we did but hubz had to build the steps and well he works so hard I just had to be patient.. The boys have decorated for the holidays too.. This is Finleys bed complete with wreath and prim stocking..

Under the steps a great place for the basket which stores the quilts we use when the grands sleepover..

One of my special bears from Rabbit Hill and a beautiful holiday pillow from Christine at Preferably Prim

All boys need rules..

Now Elliot sleeps up the steps in his mezzine room (will share this after the holidays).. He decorated the eaves with a lighted garland trimmed with tin santas and candy canes..

Their small tree happily twinkles day and night and the snowman reminds them of how many sleeps left til Christmas..

I do hope you have enjoyed my simple trim..

Finally I just wanted to share an easy makeover.. As you all know I love to junk it and recently bought this foot stool at an absolute steal of a price.. I could see the beauty that was hidden within LOL.. A vintage burlap seed sack made all the difference and turned that ugly duckling into a swan..
