*~*SPRING MAKEOVERS AND EASTER DECOR*~*
Amazingly we had a couple of days with bright sunshine in between the snow showers.. It makes you feel so good and also makes you take a good look around your home..I have had a few ideas over the past month or so that were just waiting to be put to work.. With my new Farmhouse Romantic Prairie look I have been wanting to lighten and brighten some of my furniture too.. I went out to the home decor shop and bought the paint firstly for the stairs to my craft room.. I had seen the most perfect thing on pinterest and set to work.. It only took me a few evenings to acheive the look I wanted.. Now it is a total pleasure to walk up those stairs to my craft room to create..It is difficult to get a good pic as these stairs are quite tight..
Next I moved to the kitchen.. The off white paint just goes perfect with the pale wooden top and has made such a difference to my kitchen..I resisted the temptation to rub it back on the corners and just love it.. So simple..
Then it was on to the dining room.. This cupboard holds lots of stuff for the dining room and is the perfect place for a great display.. It was all just wood to start with and seemed to disapear into the wooden floor now it seems to pop.. Added some new handles too..
I have been wanting to bring out some Spring Easter decor and firstly purchased some wooden eggs which I painted in pastel colours then sanded and waxed them which gives them a worn vintage look..They look great in an old sieve..
Love this little guy..
A simple display on my kitchen window with a ceramic bunny..
Love these sweet vintage rabbit molds too.. Perfect on my kitchen bench..
Finally my simple tree with wax eggs and wax bunny..
Just wanted to share these ATTIC BEARS.. Both on ebay this week..
Click the link on my sidebar for more pics..
Thank you for popping by and love to hear your comments too..
Hope you have enjoyed my makeovers and Easter pics..

Spring!..so beautiful!
Aww your house is so pretty..
Happy spring x
How to clean oil based paint off a paint brush: fill a baggie 1/2 way full of murphy's oil wood soap. Tie it around the soft part of your brush. Soak overnight and viola! Paint will rinse off. This works on paint that's been there a long time too!
Thanks for sharing your trick. I'm glad I had one I could share in return.
Good luck. Remember everytime you repurpose or reuse something, you are helping to save our planet!
So many sweet reminders of Easter - love your pictures. Thanks for sharing.
