*A NEW VENTURE DOWN A DIFFERENT PATH*

*~*AND MY VERY FIRST MINIATURE TEDDY BEAR*~*
I must wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope you all had a wonderful Christmas..I feel a bit like the donkeys tail always bringing up the rear and a few weeks behind everyone else...A month ago I started a new job as a social support worker working with adults who have various levels of learning difficulties..I am working full time doing shift work and I am enjoying the challenges this new roll is bringing whilst still keeping up with my family and their needs and not ignoring my prim friends along the way but I am sure they understand ♥..I have been checking in on my favourite blogs to see what everyone is up to and busy with but sadly not always having the time to comment...When I get into a regular routine I will rectify that LOL..
I am still making my prims in my spare time and running my website..well a prim lovin' artist could never stop doing that..just last week I completed my very first miniature prim teddy bear..I am so thrilled how he turned out and boy is he small just 3" sitting and completely handstitched..I painted him an old look box and popped a grubby heart on the top..well valentines is on the way so hearts are in vogue HA HA..I may become addicted to making these..He is pictured below and available on EBAY this week..

Some more of my bears also available this week..

Well just a quick post to let you all know what I have been busy with and I will be popping back soon with more goings on LOL till then *~*Blessings *~* to all..♥

Throughout my life I've gone through these streaks of collecting bears. When I was a teenager anything went. I eventually weeded out most of those bears, only saving a few favorites. Then it was boyds...I had tons of them...and eventually weeded out all but a few favorites again. NOW I see these wonderful guys...and am thinking...will this be my next bear vice..lol!!! Love them.

I completely get your adjusting to your new schedule. I just started back in labor and delivery nights. I actually adjusted much easier than I thought I would. The problem..my body wants to stay up all night even on my days off. Which would be ok if I didn't have to get up with a five year old!!! Yawn!! Katie

Hi Angi,
Absolutely wonderful teddy bears!
And the mini one... Wow!
For me, the smaller the bear the more difficult to make.
Kudos on an amazing job.
Hugs,
Tam

Goodness Angi, how on earth do you have time for everything?? Sounds like your job is very challenging. I hope that things work out well for you. Don't worry about your prim friends... we'll be here when you have time. Your newest additions are darling!! LOVE the mini bear! Yes, you definitely need to make more of them. =]

Don't forget that while you are running around taking care of everyone else, that you need to find time for YOU!

I do have a collection of Bears that I got for gifts but they are packed away somewhere since this house is so small. I don't think I would have the patience to make anything that tiny...they are so cute and look like a lot of work. I remember when my DD was little and we packed her Barbie away and she got a CP Kid doll..so much easier to make clothes for :)
You do very nice work
Hugs
