Kitchen Make-Over Complete

*~* KITCHEN MAKE-OVER COMPLETE*~*

As usual room make-overs always start small and well they just kinda get bigger and bigger.. I got these 2 fab chairs from my local junk shop for a staggering £5.. I just couldn't go home without them LOL.. Let the fun begin.. A few coats of paint and some new fabric for the seats..

It had started.. I gave the walls a clean coat of emulsion in a slightly darker shade.. Then moved quickly onto painting my kitchen cupboards before I changed my mind.. I have been considering this for a while and have done lots of research on the kind of paint to use.. It was a big big task with some 4 coats of painting to do..

With work I did it bitesize chunks..
I was thrilled with the results..

I lastly painted the base of my old kitchen table to complete the look and made a simple pelmet for the window.. The sun streams in here in the morning so I didn't want the distract from that..

I would defenaitly say this is not a job for the faint hearted and I have put my brushes away for a while LOL..

I love the way eveything has turned out.. My kitchen seems a whole lot lighter and brighter.. Giving myself a rest from painting for a couple of weeks but as usual I have another project at the planning stage... Hope you have enjoyed my make-over.. Thanx for popping by and feel free to leave a comment.. Love hearing from you all.. X

Painting is not at the top of my list either. But so worth the hard work.

Oh Angi,
I love it!!
He hee. I can completely relate, one little project can turn into a whole room transformation. I have been so guilty of that lately. :)
I love the way your kitchen turned out.
I'm also so jealous you painted your kitchen cabinets. I've been wanting to paint mine for quite sometime.
Don't tell my hubby but if we end up not moving, the day the sign comes down, my paint brush is coming out! LOL!
